This supplement is a natural flea, tick, and mosquito deterrent for pets. Prevention starts from the inside, and adding this supplement to your pet's nutrition will protect them so they can safely enjoy spring, summer & fall outdoor activities. Neem Leaf contains compounds called limonoids and azadirachtin that have insecticidal properties. These compounds are absorbed into your pet's bloodstream and can repel or kill certain insects that may try to bite or infest your pet. Quassia Bark Powder contains bitter compounds called quassinoids, which are toxic to many insects. It can also stimulate your pet's natural defences against parasites by promoting healthy digestion and boosting the immune system. This can make them less attractive to bugs and other pests, as healthy dogs are less likely to be targeted by parasites. Spirulina powder can stimulate the immune system, which can help fight off infections and diseases caused by parasites and improve your pet’s overall health and well-being, making them less attractive to fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. We add a small amount (0.03%) of Garlic to the mix. A little bit can go a long way, and once detected, fleas and ticks will be making their way off your pet. Fleas and ticks can't stand the taste of it. Administer Nature Shield orally for 7 consecutive days each month when bugs are active.
